For one adult or a carefully monitored compatible pair, provide at least approximately:

24 × 18 × 18 in (60 × 45 × 45 cm),

with larger floor space strongly preferred.

Use a:

sandy, soil-and-clay-based arid substrate

with multiple low hides, rocks and dry vegetation.

Maintain most daytime temperatures around:

75–82°F (24–28°C)

with a limited basking surface around:

88–95°F (31–35°C).

Allow nighttime temperatures to fall toward:

64–72°F (18–22°C).

Maintain general daytime humidity around:

40–55%

with temporary evening increases following light misting or fogging.
